(Joined May 1961, President 1986-1988)

I joined the Zoological Photographic Club in 1961 and served as President between 1986 and 1988.

In those early years, I photographed throughout the UK, particularly enjoyed visiting Scotland's west coast islands, where many seabird subjects (and others) provided an inexhaustible supply of subjects.

Some of those pictures were exhibited as national and international level, and today several UK agencies handle my work.

Since those times, my horizons have been considerably widened by visiting a few of the world's leading wildlife areas, including Kenya, India, the Falklands Islands, USA, Trinidad, Tobago and others.

The photograph below is of a Scottish Wildcat Kitten which was found in poor health by a roadside in Inverness-shire.  It was taken to the Hesselhead Refuge Centre, and after a lot of care and attention , it was restored to full health, and returned to the exact location where it was found.

Wildcat Kitten, Ayrshire, Scotland.
